Who Are the Best Swimming Pool Builders in Bangalore?
Bangalore has emerged as one of India's largest markets for residential swimming pools, with high demand across Whitefield, Sarjapur Road, Hennur, Devanahalli, Yelahanka, Jakkur, Kanakapura Road, Bannerghatta and Electronic City. Choosing the right pool builder is the single most important decision you will make - and it will determine the quality, longevity and running cost of your pool for the next 25+ years.
At Aquarist Pools and Fitness, we have been designing and building swimming pools in Bangalore and across Karnataka for over a decade. Below is a complete, vendor-neutral guide to help you evaluate any pool builder in the city - including us.
What to Look For in a Bangalore Pool Builder
- Local engineering experience - Bangalore's red soil, rocky sub-strata, and undulating plots demand site-specific structural design. Avoid contractors who use a "one design fits all" approach.
- End-to-end execution - Civil, MEP, tiling, filtration, electrical safety and landscaping should be handled by a single accountable team.
- BIS-compliant filtration - Insist on branded pumps, sand filters or pipeless systems with a written warranty.
- Transparent quotation - A proper Bangalore quote should be itemised: excavation, RCC shell, waterproofing, tiles, plumbing, filtration, electrical, coping, and deck.
- Maintenance contract - The builder should offer an AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) after handover, ideally with their own trained staff.
- Portfolio in Bangalore - Ask for at least 5 completed projects you can visit within 30 km.
Average Cost of Building a Pool in Bangalore (2026)
- Compact plunge pool (10 x 20 ft): from ₹6.5 - 9 lakhs
- Standard residential pool (15 x 30 ft): ₹10 - 16 lakhs
- Family pool (20 x 40 ft): ₹18 - 28 lakhs
- Luxury / farmhouse pool (25 ft+ with Jacuzzi): ₹30 lakhs and above
These rates include civil + finishing + filtration. Landscaping, gazebos and lighting are usually quoted separately.
